Introduction
Alright, another flip phone here is the Oppo Find N3 Flip! And this is in its 3rd generation. The box looks good, we’ll see how the phone is & do the unboxing & first impressions. We open the box & do a lot of things for you. Alright. This doesn’t look like a flip phone, it looks like a normal candy bar phone. We’ll see what else is in the box. It’s an 80W brick, but remember the phone only supports 44W. This is an 80W brick. You’ll get a premium service if you buy it. Because the phone is premium, there’s a sim card tool & documentation. Alright, what else is there? Oh, there’s a cable! There’s a USB Type A to Type C cable.

But it works absolutely seamlessly. When you open the flip phone, you know that the hinge is working.Easily, every time it opens properly without any issue.
The frame is metal. Gorilla Glass Victus front & back. It’s front & back after opening. This is a short UTG glass.It’s Gorilla Glass Victus. Let’s look at the ports & buttons. Let’s see, it must be 185g too.
Oh! 199.7g! The weight distribution is good & the in-hand feel is amazing. We’ve flipped it many times & have been using it for 2 days. And the crease hasn’t increased at all. And we tested it, blindfolded people & asked them to feel it. And they said that they didn’t notice the crease much. So that is a really good thing. We did the blindfold testing.

Let’s look at the buttons. At the bottom, there’s a sim card tray, a microphone, a USB Type C port, and a speaker grill. On the right hand side, there’s a power on/off button which doubles up as a side mounted fingerprint sensor. And there’s a volume rocker at the top for a comfortable position. There’s a noise cancelling microphone at the top & a speaker grill.
And on the left hand side, there’s an alert slider! So overall, there’s everything except the 3.5mm jack. These are the 3 cameras. This is the first phone with a triple camera setup. And the cameras. Let’s look at the display first.
OPPO Find N3 Flip Display
The cover display is 3.26” with 17.9% aspect ratio. So it mimics the 16-18 aspect ratio. This is 17.9, so it’s a smaller screen but of the same size. So that’s a good thing. And this time, you’ll be able to do a lot of things on the cover display. The display inside is a 6.8” LTPO display. Yes, it’s an AMOLED LTPO display. So whatever you’re working on from 1Hz to 120Hz, it’ll change accordingly. And yes, the cover display is also AMOLED but of 60Hz. It supports HDR10+. It has 1600 nits brightness so it’s a bright display as well.
If I talk about the bezels, they’re very thin & uniform. Even the side & top bezels are of the same size. Although there is a crease, but when you’re working on it,
you don’t really feel it. So when you’re using it, it feels like a normal candy bar phone. This tall display has an aspect ratio of 21.9. Whether it’s a flip phone or a fold phone, the durability of the hinge & folds are very important. Oppo has said that it has been tested for 6 lakh folds. Meaning if you do 100 folds in a day, you’ll be able to use it for 15-16 years. What’s the need for 15-16 years? But 6 lakh folds?
OPPO Find N3 Flip Specifications
Let’s talk about the specifications. It has a Dimensity 9200 flagship level processor. It has 12GB RAM & 256GB storage. There’s only 1 variant. It has LPDDR5X RAM & UFS 4.0 storage. So there are no cut corners anywhere. The score is 1.1M +, so it’s an excellent performance. Even if you’re gaming on it, you’ll be able to play games on the highest settings. And I’ll tell you what, we had fun playing the game.
It has a big 6.8” display, so you’ll really enjoy that. On the highest settings, you can play COD Mobile on 120FPS. The BGMI is 60FPS, but it’s 120FPS on COD Mobile. It has a 4300mAh battery with 44W charging. And because of this cover display, you’ll save a lot of battery. It’s 60Hz, but it should easily last for the whole day. Because it’s a 4Nm based power efficient processor. I’d like to say something about the cover display.
ip Cover Display. There’s AOD support now, so you’ll be able to use more than 40 apps on it. You’ll be able to use the main apps like camera, weather, timer, maps, google photos. You’ll be able to open all the apps on it. And as I said, it has a 17-9 aspect ratio, so it feels normal
It’s a small display, but it’s similar to a normal candy bar phone. And the controls are similar to the main display. So it feels very natural & you don’t have to do anything. It’s similar to a normal display.
Look at these apps. And there are more apps coming with updates. It’ll be fun to watch YouTube videos on it. Reels will be nice, you can scroll on the small display. It’s support is coming very soon. It’s not only apps, there’s also support for widgets.You can keep pets on it. You can keep 3 widgets on it. So all those things are there. I actually like this display.
OPPO Find N3 Flip OS UI
The OS UI is ColorOS 13.2, it’s well tuned. In flip & fold phones, it’s important to know how to switch between big & small displays. And for that aspect ratio, it’s important to be optimised & tuned.
And it feels that ColorOS 13.2 is very much optimised. Based on Android 13, you’ll get 4 years of major updates & 5 years of security updates. But there are pre-installed apps that you can uninstall.
You’ll get hot games & hot apps. It shouldn’t be there in premium phones. And the intelligent services are by default turned off. There’s 12GB physical RAM & 12GB virtual RAM support. And I noticed that the haptics feedback is absolutely fantastic. It feels really good, the haptic feedback. The performance & display are good but the multimedia is excellent.
OPPO Find N3 Flip Multimedia
Especially if you watch HDR on Netflix, it’ll be fun. And the audio quality is very good, Dolby Atmos is tuned. So video & audio are top notch. Multimedia experience is going to be out of the world. Sensors are present on all devices. There’s a side mounted fingerprint sensor, face unlock & it works well. Connectivity has 15 5G bands, dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi calling support, Wi-Fi 7 support, Bluetooth 5.3 & NFC. In flip phones, you have to see how much it bends & when it falls Let’s see. So about 120 degrees, it’s there. It bends a little more & it falls. So about 120 degrees.What I found positively surprising was the camera setup.
OPPO Find N3 Flip Camera
Yes, it’s an out & out flagship. I can say with my eyes closed that this is the best camera on a flip phone by a margin. The primary sensor, in fact there’s a triple camera setup. The primary sensor is the Sony IMX890 50MP sensor. The ultrawide sensor is the 48MP IMX581 sensor.
And the 32MP telephoto sensor is the Sony IMX709 sensor. And you get the same IMX709 sensor in selfies too.And the photos, not just the specifications. I was absolutely impressed with the photos. Look at the colours & dynamic range. I mean, wow! A flip phone with such a great camera setup! You can see for yourself, I’m giving you the G-Drive link on the original quality. I’ve saved a lot of photos in low light, in normal conditions & portraits.
And it comes with Hasselblad tuning..And yes, it comes with Pro XDR computational photography. So as soon as you click a photo, you can see it & the process is heavy. And then you really see the good photo & the result you get is excellent!
In simple language, it does a lot of processing & then you get that great photo. And especially when you look at the display, because of Pro XDR, the brighter spot goes upto 1600 nits. So the dynamic range you see is solid! Even if I talk about the selfie sensor, it analyzes pixel by pixel & then it changes & processes the photo.
So you’re going to love the end result! It’s a very nice photograph. These are my first impressions, but I’m impressed with the camera. You get 4K 30FPS front & back in videography. I’ve given samples of that as well, do check it out! You’ll also be impressed, that’s for sure! And yes, you get Hasselblad’s X-Pan mode, Pro mode, Video, Photo, Portrait mode & all the other features. There’s Night mode, High Resolution, Pano Mode, Time Lapse, Slow Motion, Text Scanner, Long Exposure. If you want to take a wide photo, you can click those wide photos & in black & white, you get beautiful Hasselblad features.
And yes, you get a watermark at the bottom for the camera. Oppo calls it a Cosmic Ring design, I like the design! This looks premium, you’ll have to feel this phone in your hand! Other Features
You get a dual nano sim card slot, no wireless charging & no IP certification. Everything else is supported by the Y9L1 & the value is within limits. There are 3 standout features, 1 is the looks, 2 is the
cover display & 3 is the multimedia experience. And at the top, there are cameras! Wow! This is definitely a style statement, backed by performance! Now the price, when I’m unboxing it right, Find N2 Flip was around Rs 90K. It’s around Rs 1 Lakh, because if I compare it with the.
