Alright friends, I’ve brought a special phone for Diwali! This is the OnePlus 11R solar it’s not new, it was launched 6-7 months ago. But this colour is a Diwali special colour! It was the 1st time I wanted to unbox it & show it to you! And I’ll tell you what, when you’ll see it, you’ll get as excited! According to me, if your budget is in the range of Rs.

35-45K, this might just be one of the best phones to buy this Diwali! Red Everything is red, never settle! There’s not much in it, it’s the same case & documentation. I’m not going to talk too much about it. There’s a red cable club card, stickers & documentation. Let’s keep this aside. And there’s a sim card tool right here. And this is the phone, I’m going to show it to you!
You can see the CMF colour material finish. And then you have this 100W charger. Yes, it’s a big brick! Once you get used to this 100W charging, it’s crazy!

Unboxing Look at that! I don’t know how you’ll feel in the camera, but when you hold this phone, it feels & looks beautiful!
And do you know why it feels good? If you look at the silver & black colours, the finish is made of plastic & glass. This is a vegan leather finish. And when you hold it in your hand, the grip on the sides is very good.
This is beautiful! This is seriously nothing like anything! Let’s have a satisfying moment! Let me tell you, this special edition phone isn’t just for the colour, finish & material. In this edition, you get an 18GB RAM & 512GB storage variant. Look at the curved display, it’s a 3D curved display.

And it’s a 6.74” 1.5K 120Hz AMOLED display with 1450×1450 nits brightness. It’s absolutely top notch! And we’ve used this 11R at length for 3-4 months. And the display definitely stands out! Even for performance, it has an 8G Gen1 SoC & on this 18GB.

variant, AnTuTu scores above 1.2M! Talking about gaming performance, we’ve used it at length for 1-1.5 hours for gaming sessions. And we’ve also played Genshin Impact on it, but the performance is top notch! Play BGMI, CODM & you can easily play games on the highest settings at 60FPS. But the surprising thing was, we said that it has 18GB RAM & it has such a good performance. How much FPS gameplay do we get in Genshin Impact?
We got 58-59FPS continuously for 1 hour without dropping the performance. So the display is good & the performance is absolutely right up there! Talking about the OS, you get an excellent & clean UI.
OnePlus 11R Solar Red OS & UI You get OxygenOS 13.1 which is based on Android 13. You get 3 years of major updates & 4 years of security updates.
There are absolutely no issues with the OS. Talking about performance, it has LPDDR5X RAM type & UFS 3.1 storage type. That’s why the AnTuTu scores are so good! Talking about the variants, there was 8GB 128GB variant, then 16GB 256GB variant & now there’s 18GB 512GB variant. It has a feature called RAM Vita which optimizes the apps in the background. So you don’t need to close the apps. In the 16GB variant, which was their top variant, you could run 44 apps in the background. And this RAM Vita intelligently prioritizes which apps to close & which apps to keep. In the 18GB variant, you can run 50 apps in the background. And we tested it & it works!
But it took more time to install & open 50 apps than testing. OnePlus claims that in the 18GB variant, the app opening time has increased by 6%. And as I said earlier, you need 100W.
OnePlus 11R Solar Red Battery
You get a full 5000mAh battery from 0-100% in 30 minutes. If you get used to it, you’ll not go to any other phone. You’ll always crave for more. This 100W, you need 150W or more. But 100W is good enough. And when I unboxed the 11R for the first 6-7 months, I told you about the camera. The setup is exactly the same as the OnePlus 11’s flagship variant.

The setup is the same for the primary sensor. It has IMX890 Sony’s primary 50MP sensor, 8MP ultra wide & 2MP.
And the photos are seriously flagship level pictures. As I said, in 2023, the camera, performance & display have gone one notch above. If you want to buy a OnePlus phone with a budget of Rs 40K, then this might be a good phone for Diwali.
