Introduction
At the very earliest, expect the iPhone SE 4 out in late 2024. But based on Apple’s usual release frame for this series, we expect to see it in March or April 2025. Apple’s current iPhone SE has been around since 2020.So we can expect a better screen in the iPhone SE 4 generation. So many leakers are predicting a major update within the next year or two.
So let’s go over what we can expect from a new iPhone SE. So if I talk about the design and build, then normally when you have seen the iPhone SE 3rd generation.then you must have remembered the iPhone 6 series by looking at it. But this time it is not going to happen because rumors are claiming that the iPhone SE 4th generation will be aderivative from the iPhone 14 series.
Generation
So we can expect a better screen in the iPhone SE 4 generation. We can see an AMOLED screen. But still, there is a lot of confusion about the screen size. Some people are saying that the 5.4-inch screen size that you get in the iPhone 13 mini and iPhone 12 mini will be available in the iPhone SE 4gen. I think they will go with 6.1-inch, which is normally the size of the iPhone screen.
Whether you buy iPhone 12, 13, or even 11, the same size has been coming since then. And I personally think that the iPhone SE 4th generation is going to have a 6.1-inch AMOLED screen.So you will definitely get an AMOLED screen. At the same time, you will also get to see the notch.
IPhone SE 4 Series
Because my logic this time is that Apple will officially remove the notch in the iPhone 15 series. So the series that has been there, it has always been based on the design of the previous generation..For example, the first SE was based on the design of the iPhone 5. 2nd SE, 3rd SE is based on the design of the iPhone 6. Similarly, my mind is saying, my brain is saying, all the leaks and rumors that I have researched, it is saying that the design that will be there this time will be the iPhone 13 or 14.
Basically, the design of the iPhone 13 and 14 is very similar, you guys know that. But there will be only one difference in it, that will be in the camera. This time you can see a single lens again in the SE. You can see a single lens camera. The same 12 megapixel camera is going to be there. The primary lens that is being used is still in the 14 series. So you will get to see the same lens. But now the quality of the lens has been improved here.
And I personally think that the iPhone 13 or 14 lenses will be used in this generation of iPhone SE. In the iPhone SE 4th generation, you can see the IP68 rating, which will be derived similarly from the iPhone SE 3rd generation. Along with that, you will also get wireless charging. Because Apple don’t cut on such premium features even in their affordable devices.
To run wireless charging, you need a glass back. Hence, if wireless charging comes in it, that also means that Apple will use a glass back in the build itself. Along with that you will get a frame made of aluminum which is available in other non-pro iPhone models. So in the iPhone SE 4th generation.
But leaks are also saying that the action button can debut with the iPhone 15 series on iPhones. If this is true then you will definitely get to see the action button in the next iPhone SE model. Now you are getting a new Amoled screen design. That means you will also get a Face ID. The same Face ID that came in the iPhone X and is continuing till the iPhone 15.Now you will get the same authentication on the h generation.
IPhone SE 4 Design
It’ll take its design cues from the iPhone 14. With a small notch, flat sides, and no home button. That means the iPhone SE will finally get Face ID. A feature that’s been around for six years, but only available on Apple’s flagship models.
Display
Which is not only 33% larger then the current SE’s 4.7” LCD panel.It will also finally have a 6.1” OLED display.But it’ll also deliver pure blacks with a two million to one contrast ratio as opposed to 1,400 to one. It’ll also likely have 800 nits of brightness, which is more than 20% better. Display Specs And since the panel will be OLED, the display could be Always-On. Allowing users to see information on their screen at a glance without waking the device.
Ports
There will also be a new USB-C port at the bottom, replacing the Lightning connector that has been around since the iPhone 5 came out eleven years ago.
Modem
Inside, the iPhone SE will not only feature a more powerful processor. Apple-designed 5G modem. We’re not clear how it would benefit users, but it would help Apple reduce their dependency on Qualcomm, their current modem supplier, and save money on the component over time.
Action Button
The last exciting addition will be an Action Button, similar to what we have today on Apple Watch Ultra. It will replace the current silent switch and allow users to customize the button’s action. Serving as a shortcut for the camera, flashlight, Magnifier, Translate app, Voice Memos, Focus mode, silent mode, and more. The downside of this iPhone SE is that it’ll likely still only have one camera lens. Unlike the double and triple lens setups on every other model.
Price
