Introduction
What a time to buy smartphones. My many good phones are launching for Rs 20-25K. And there’s another amazing phone the Infinix Zero 30.If you look at its hardware, software & features. I heard it for the 1st time, I was shocked. And everything at Rs india 21,999. You know that Infinix phones are less in software & hardware, but this one has everything. If you want to buy a new phone for Rs 20K, as soon as you take it in your hand it feels premium. The box packaging also looks premium, so that’s nice.
Infinix Zero 30 Unboxing
Generally. There’s nothing different in the Infinix Zero 30 box. There’s a lot of stuff. This is the case if you can look at the camera module. Then you have documentation, a sim card tool. Look at this there’s a scratch guard as well. It’s a curved screen phone so it’s kind of soft. There’s a 68W charger with a big brick. And then you have a USB Type A to Type C charging cable. Let’s keep all these things aside & look at the Infinix Zero 30 phone.
Infinix Zero 30 Design
So many thin phones have been launched in the last few days. And this is another addition. And there’s another colour Golden R which is with a glass back. This is vegan leather. And look at this, look at the curve, it looks premium. It’s a big phone & it looks very different. Look at the camera module, it looks like an industrial design. It looks It’s a big phone, but in terms of weight I’d say it’s around 180g. I can go wrong, but I’d say it’s around 183g.
It was very difficult to guess the weight, but now I’m on track from the last 2-3 unboxing. I’m getting it right, so it’s around 182-183g. Even though it has a 5000mAh battery, it’s around 7.9mm thin. It’s excellent with that 3D curved glass. Infinix Zero 30 Ports & Buttons There’s a sim card tray at the bottom a microphone, a USB Type C port a speaker grill. There’s a power on off on the right & a volume rocker at the top.
There’s a speaker grill at the top & a noise cancelling microphone on the left. There are stereo speakers.Because the base variant comes with 256GB.There’s a dual nano sim card slot & there’s no SD card slot.
We’ve seen it from the outside, but there’s still a lot to drop. Infinix Zero 30 Build Quality Should we drop it? It also comes with Gorilla Glass 5 protection.I mean in Rs 21,999, it’s a net effective price. But you’re getting Gorilla Glass 5, so let’s drop it.
Infinix Zero 30 Display
Let’s look at it from the inside. It has a 6.78” 3D curved display. It’s an AMOLED display with 144Hz fast refresh rate & 950 Nits brightness. And look at the bezels, they’re non-existent. There are bezels on the sides as it’s 3D curved. But if you look at the bottom & top it doesn’t look like a mid range phone. If you look at it from the front, it looks like a Rs 30-40,000 phone. Because prices are really coming down & spec wise. As I said, the display is amazing.
Specification
It comes with Dimensity 8020 SoC. It’s a 6Nm based processor with an score of 7.10L. Which is very respectable in this price range. It comes with 2 variants, 8GB RAM & 256GB storage. And the variant above it is 12GB RAM & 256GB storage. It’s an LPDDR4X RAM type but it’s a UFS 3.1 storage type. The read & write speeds are good. And if you take the 12GB variant, it comes with 9GB virtual RAM.It’s 21GB of RAM!
What are you getting? It has a 5000mAh battery & it comes with 68W fast charging. You can charge it & the battery will get low, but it’s no problem. It charges from 0% to 50% in about 20-23 minutes. So fast charging is also there, so it’s very good. And if I talk about performance.
Infinix Zero 30 Performance
You can play heavy games on the highest settings like COD Mobile. You can play PUBG on 90FPS & COD Mobile BGMI on 60FPS it has HDR.
Infinix Zero 30 OS & UI
It has its own 3rd party apps like Infinix, but it doesn’t have 3rd party bloatware. That’s very surprising. And you get Android 14 & 2 years of security updates, so 1 plus 2. And it has some interesting features. It doesn’t have a Google dialer, so you have to do one.
Infinix Zero 30 Multimedia
It has stereo speakers & supports Hi-Res audio. The multimedia experience overall is very good. The display is HDR, you can watch HDR videos on YouTube. But there’s no HDR support on Netflix. There’s Widevine L1, so you can do HD streaming. Overall, this is a great phone for multimedia. There are 2-3 more things I want to talk about the display. It has 2160Hz PWM dimming. And it has a 10bit display.
Infinix Zero 30 Camera
According to that, I was looking at its camera & it surpassed my expectations. Its camera is very good. Primary sensor is Samsung’s HM6 108MP sensor with OIS support. It’s a 13MP ultrawide camera with 2MP depth sensor. It’s a triple camera setup. In selfies, you get Samsung’s JN1 sensor which is a 50MP autofocus sensor.
Look at the photos there are many portraits, landscapes in the original quality.I was actually impressed with the camera. The colour tones, skin tones, colours & sharpness are very good.says that you can shoot front & back 4K 60FPS videos. I mean, what do you want?
Like I said at the start of this video, this phone has got literally everything. And because it’s 108MP, you get 3x lossless zoom. So essentially, it crops the photo by zooming. You can have 3x zoom as well.Interestingly, even the 13MP ultrawide camera also gives you 4K 30FPS. You can shoot ultra wide videos at 4K. And in terms of features there are standard features like
time lapse, slow motion, 240FPS slow motion mode, Pro mode, portrait mode, filters etc. There are many questions, especially those who do a lot of vlogging & use a front camera. In this price range, if you want a smartphone for vlogging, definitely you should consider this.
Sensors
Infinix Zero 30 Sensors all sensors are there. There’s an in-display fingerprint sensor, face unlock, all good there. In terms of connectivity, there’s everything.Infinix Zero 30 Connectivity There’s support for 14 5G bands. There’s Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2 & there’s NFC support.
So there’s everything in terms of connectivity options. Basically you get all the connectivity options in a Rs 30-40K phone for Rs 20-22K. If I talk about the small features, there’s IP53 certification. There’s no notification light but there are dual LEDs in the selfie. If you’re taking portraits in the dark, you’ll benefit from it.
So that’s there. There’s FM radio, SAR value within limits. And this is vegan leather & the other colour variant comes in a glass pack. Infinix has packed everything in this phone. If you buy a 12GB variant with virtual RAM, you get 21GB RAM. Software optimization also plays a very important role. So overall, if I look at the price, hardware & software my first impressions are really good.
In this price range, a lot of phones have been launched. And there’s such a competition, every phone is better than the other. So in our next post Best Smartphones Under Rs 25K, it’ll definitely be in the top 5.
