Introduction
I am talking about Infinix GT 10 Pro. What is Infinix doing?I mean they are bringing really good phones. The last 2-3 Infinix phones have been amazing and this one sits at the top. It is probably the most powerful phone under Rs 20K. Its price is going to be less than 20 thousand rupees. But its performance is not its highlight. If you look at other things, it’s an impressive device. If I talk about the unboxing, I would say that the box is also impressive.
Infinix GT 10 Pro Design
It looks like an out-and-out gaming phone. Just look at this design, it’s so unique. Infinix says it’s a cyber mecha design. The back has a glass and is very orange. And there are LED lights too. I’ll show you this too, you can customize it. The frame is normal. This is a normal plastic frame. It feels good in hand. The Infinix GT 10 Pro feels great in the hand. It’s a little big but it’s a gaming phone so you need something that big. We’ll look at the bezels, which are also very important. There is a scratch guard and it is also inside the box.
Let’s look at the port and the button. At the bottom, there is a speaker grill, a USB Type-C port, a microphone and a 3.5mm jack. It’s a gaming phone so it should have a 3.5mm jack. On the left side, there is the SIM card tray. It’s not central, it’s on the side of the frame.
At the top, there are stereo speakers, a noise-canceling microphone, a volume rocker button, and a power on/off button. It looks like an in-display fingerprint sensor as there is no power on or off button. It is about 5-10 grams. It should be around 195-198 grams. It is around 200 grams.
It weighs 188.7g and is quite light despite being such a big phone. There is a dedicated SD card slot, a triple card slot, 2 Nano SIMs and a microSD card. There is only 1 type and it costs less than 20 thousand!
Infinix GT 10 Pro Display
Let’s look at it from the outside. There are many inspiring things. The display is a 6.67” 120Hz AMOLED display. There are dynamic refresh rates of 60Hz, 90Hz and 120Hz. There is 360Hz touch sampling rate and HDR10 support. We tried it on YouTube and I don’t think it supports Netflix. Brightness is good at 900 nits.
All 1j4 bezels are quite thin and the screen-to-body ratio is good.
Space
Let’s talk about the specs and performance. Performance is the heart of this phone. The processor is Dimensity 8050.
Infinix GT 10 Pro Performance. The score is above 6.5L. If you are gaming on high settings you can play at 60FPS continuously. And I will tell you that you can reset the volume button for gaming if you want to shoot jumping by pressing the volume rocker up and down you can do that. And I liked the gaming performance.
And there’s a reason for that because it has 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. And that storage is UFS 3.1 storage type. It has LPDDR4X RAM type. It has a 5000mAh battery with 45W charging. It does not contain bloat ware. Usually, Infinix phones had bloat ware. It is based on Android 13. And based on Android 13, you get 1 year of major updates ie Android 14. And will get 2 years of security updates.
Connectivity
It has Wi-Fi 6 connectivity. It has 14 5G bands. So it supports all 5G bands. It also supports NFC. It has Bluetooth 5.3, dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi calling etc. Sensors It has all the sensors. And usually under Rs 20K, there is a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. But in this one, you get an in-display fingerprint sensor. It has face unlock and it works well.
Multimedia
The display is a bright, colorful, AMOLED display. So watching the video is great. But the best part is that the audio speakers are loud. You get high-res stereo speakers. So in terms of audio video and multimedia, it’s really good. And one more thing, the haptic feedback is also very good. I didn’t expect that, but there it is. Let’s see how it looks. Let’s try this. Let’s try a passive amplifier. The sound goes up a little I thought it would go up a lot. But it is inactive. But the original audio and video quality is very good. So thumbs up for multimedia. Let’s talk about other things. At the back are the notification light and 5 LED strips. When you receive a notification, it will be displayed and you can customize it. I think there are 3-4 customizations. There is no FM radio. Has an IP53 certification so is water and dust resistant. Resistance SAR value is within range.
Camera
There are 2 big cameras, but this is a triple camera setup. But I’d say it’s a 1 camera setup as it has a 108MP primary sensor. There’s a 32MP selfie sensor at the front. The camera isn’t the focus of this phone. It’s a performance phone, a gaming phone.I’d say its camera is average. Do check it out, I’m giving the link in the description. But there’s 1 thing that stands out, the 32MP selfie camera punches above its weight. You get 4K 30FPS on the rear & 2K 30FPS on the front. So that’s good. There’s Widevine L1 certification so you can stream on HD.There’s camera 2AP support so all those things are there.
Talking about camera features, there’s AI cam mode beauty mode portrait mode super night mode for low light. There’s time lapse slow motion so all those things are there. And there’s a dual mode, so the front & rear cameras work at the same time.
You’ll be able to use it when you’re shooting videos. The OS has a lot of features like GT exclusive live wallpapers. There’s a gaming mode for the dashboard game.If I talk about performance, display & event design, they’ve come out with a really good phone for sure.
