In Teen Patti, the Aces are the highest and the deuces are the lowest cards in value.
The hand rankings go somewhat like Poker. On the top, we have “Trail” or “Set” meaning Three cards of the same rank.
For example – A set of 3s or Triple Aces.
Next comes the Straight Flush or Pure Sequence meaning Three cards of the same suit in sequence. Like 4, 5, and 6 of Spade. Below that is the Run or Sequence.
Like its name, the player has Three cards in a sequence but not of the same suit. For example = 8 of Spade, 9 of Club, and 10 of Diamond. In fourth place comes the Color or Flush.
The player’s hand contains 3 cards of the same suit but not in a sequence. For example – 5, 7, and 10 of Spade. After that is the Pair or Double essentially meaning Two cards of the same rank. The highest pair a player can get is two aces and a king, while the lowest is two deuces and a 3. If two players have cards of the same rank, the rank of the third card or the kicker card is compared to deciding who’s the winner.
And at last comes the High Card- If no player has three cards that are in sequence or of the same color or same suit, the highest-ranking card is considered to decide the winner. If two players have a common high card, the second-highest card is compared, and then the third. The best hand with the high card is Ace, King, and Jack and the worst hand is 5,3, and 2.

Now that we are clear on the hand rankings, let’s learn about the process and stages of the game.
How to Play Teen Patti?
Teen Patti can be played between three to seven players with a standard deck of 52 cards.
Important side note!
We don’t use joker cards in Teen Patti! The game starts with every player putting a fixed amount of chips as ante or boot on
the table. This is the minimum amount of chips at stake in the game. Then three cards are distributed face down to all the participants. After the card distribution, the betting begins with the player sitting on the left to the dealer. The player can either pack or call or raise the ante.
If they decide to make a bet, it will become the current stake for the next player. The next player can move ahead with two options- leaving the cards face-down and go on to betting, or check their cards to decide the further action.

Side Show Let’s assume that you are a seen player and want to compare your cards with the cards of the previous player who is also playing seen.
How?
Ask for a Side Show. You can do so by putting an amount equal to twice the current size of the pot.
Remember that the previous player has the right to accept or deny your Sideshow request. If he accepts and has better cards than you, you have to pack. In case you have better hands than him, he needs to fold.

Show At the end of the betting rounds, if only two players are left in the game, one of them can ask for a show or showdown.
